Action

Story: Two agents, from enemy nations have been called back to work for their countries , leaving behind their lives of comfort . Their mission is to rescue 40 nurses who have been kept hostage.
Review: The "Tube Light " has fused and now "Tiger  Zinda  Hai" aur ek baar yeh "Jasoos Jag" gaya toh aap bas "Baar Baar Dekhte" reh jaaonge!
Tiger is back and with such a tiger around there is no fear of extinction!  Every scene in this movie is so well explained . Carried out with gusto and obviously ample of swag, mostly owing to Mr Khan's charisma, this film will be included in the list of the better thriller films that have released in a while. it has action but it doesn't seem too much thanks to the stylish music which complements the scenes.  This is a Salman Khan show but Katrina Kaif is not behind either. She shows off her moves by brutally attacking the bad guys and earns quite a few whistles and hoots. She leaves our  very own Tiger behind  as she ruthlessly punishes the terrorists . Not just Katrina Kaif all the female characters  including the nurses are given strong roles  to portray . There are no damsels in distress here and in fact in one scene we see Kat rescuing the hero!  I mean  think about it , a film in which Katrina Kaif agrees to deglamorize herself must really have something special about it!  Another good thing about the movie is that the reality is presented without the fear of making the audience squirm in their seats a bit. True, some scenes do seem impossible and illogical , but then again haven't we all learnt to expect and accept this in a Salman Khan film? Delivering the message of unity in diversity, Patriotism, peace and love combined with minimal music and maximum substance Tiger Zinda Hai , and thank god for that!

Saiyaara: A Film Review and My Thoughts on Its Reception- By Manya Malhotra

Saiyaara: A Film Review and My Thoughts on Its Reception   Saiyaara Reception and Backlash Saiyaara opened to an 84 crores net domestic box office figure on its opening weekend, a feat unheard of for a film with newcomers, in an industry still recognised as primarily star-led. (For context, the two major films starring newcomers in the past 13 years- Dhadak and Student of the Year, earned 33.65 and 30 crores respectively). I have been a Bollywood (or Hindi film industry) fan for as long as I can remember. Seeing one of its films get such a massive reception has been heartwarming, and I cannot remember the last time a film got so much love. It has now been two weeks since the film’s release. I have read both positive and negative reactions to the film’s unprecedented success, and after digesting it all, I thought it was finally time to revisit my blog and pen down my honest opinion on both the film and everything that has followed since its release. Skeptics will spin many t...

Darlings Film Review By Manya Malhotra

Darlings Film Review By Manya Malhotra Cast :   Alia Bhatt, Vijay Verma, Shefali Shah, Roshan Mathew, Rajesh Sharma, Vijay Maurya Director:   Jasmeet K. Reen   Review :   Darlings is co-written by writer-director Jasmeet K Reen and Parveez Sheikh, who has films like Queen to his writing credits. It stars powerhouse performers like Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah, and Vijay Verma — and is also Bhatt’s maiden film as a producer. Clearly, the expectations with this one are very high— and yet it still manages to make an impact.  Darling s tells the story of Badrunissa who suffers physical and psychological abuse at the hands of her husband before one day finally deciding to retaliate.  Make no mistake, Darlings is not an easy film to watch. It is infuriating but also determinedly terrifying. It lets you breathe but is also dangerously unsettling.    The first half of the film is the hardest to watch....

Ek Villain Returns Film Review By Manya Malhotra

Ek Villain Returns Review ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Cast : Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani, John Abraham, Tara Sutaria Directo r: Mohit Suri Review: Ek Villain Returns is the smiley face-filled sequel to the Blockbuster film Ek Villain . If you did not get the smiley reference, you should probably  check out the first film in the franchise—or not if you value your sanity even a little. I went into the hall for Ek Villain Returns highly sceptical, and willing to wholly suspend disbelief. My decision to do so paid off greatly as I denied myself my usual urge to protest exasperatedly when the hero, or villain, or whatever humiliated and terrified a famous singer to clear the stage (literally) for an up-and-coming artist who he happened to fancy. I also bought it when, impressed by this charming gesture the girl ended up falling head over heels in love with the man.   This is Director Mohit Suri’s world, here love always coexists with pain...
