Review:We are back to the world of terrifying, screeching dinosaurs and greedy, malicious humans. Unlike its prequel and more like the first ever film in the Jurassic park franchise , Jurassic world: Fallen Kingdom focuses quite a lot on fear; fear of the audience. Dinosaurs unexpectedly shoot up from the depths of the sea, open doors with their blood thirsty claws and bite off human heads like they are their midday snacks. Spanish Director J.A.Bayona makes sure that we are sitting on the edge of our seats throughout the run time of this gripping motion picture. Even the weather; stormy , rainy and unpredictable is used to bring out the situation the characters of the movie are stuck in. That being said, this is not a horror film and never do its proceedings leave you pale and in a cold sweat. It is more of a thriller/ adventure film. Even the CGI and animatronics over here are quite impressive. However the one place where Jurassic Park: Fallen Kingdom falters is the ending. While the ending of this film will serve as the beginning of the next film in the franchise it just seems improbable. I mean obviously this whole film is improbable but the whole motive here was to rescue the dinosaurs without harming anyone and the ending compromised that idea to a great extent. Bryce Dallas Howard’s introduction scene has the camera focusing on her high heels( A clear dig on the controversy that ensued after the actress was widely criticised for sporting high heels and running around an island full of dinosaurs in the previous Jurassic world film.) she does a good job and plays her part with conviction. Chris Pratt who most of us remember as Star Lord aka Quill from The Guardians Of The Galaxy franchise is here as well and is in top form. All in all it is safe to say that unlike the dinosaurs in the story, you will not need rescuing as the film keeps you thoroughly engrossed. Clip your nails before entering the theatre, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is quite a nail biting experience!
Ps: Do not wait for the post credit scene it’s 5 seconds long and you would rather be anywhere else!
