Review: The Harry Potter Series has been an absolute rage with people from all age groups knowing the charms and spells taught at their favourite Hogwarts on the tip of their tongues! Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald takes us back to the Wizarding World that we can never seem to get enough of! With swishes of wands, flying chariots and escaped prisoners the film starts off with a bang! Some well known characters from the Harry Potter World resurface here, Albus Dumbledore being the most prominent and judging by the applause, the most loved as well! Amidst the humorous one- liners, the fantastic beasts and the tactics of the ‘Oh So Evil Grindelwald’ we can also see a love story developing between two central characters. A lot is happening here. Some character back stories leave you perplexed and a particular revelation at the end just doesn’t seem to add up! But, what can we do? The film had me spellbound, irrespective of it’s setbacks. Eddie Redmayne as Newt is terrific, he becomes the character. Johnny Depp as the cold, calculative yet persuasive Grindelwald had me at the edge of my seat throughout. The charismatic Jude Law (Dumbledore), The dauntless Zoe Kravitz ( Leta Lestrange), The affable Dan Fogler (Jacob), The intriguing Ezra Miller (Credence) all make this film a worthwhile watch.
