Story:Carina Smyth , Henry Turner and Jack Sparrow are all searching for the trident of Poseidon for different reasons . During their quest ,they encounter the wrath of a half - dead man and an old nemesis .Will they succeed ?

Review : Pirates of the Caribbean : Dead men tell no tales is like being on a ship where you experience sea sickness at times but then when a thrill wave comes your way you are soaked in exuberance. Some scenes in the film are quite amusing (we have Johnny Depp to thank for that ),and they bring in laughs .(watch out for Jack Sparrow 's entry scene ) . But in the attempt to be funny, the makers overdo it and some supposedly funny scenes miss the mark. Once the crew finds the ship ,they seem to reach their destination(which I won't reveal , to avoid plot spoilers) pretty easily . The electrifying music helps in lifting the spirit of the film. The fight sequences do lose your attention sometimes but the climax scene is good. The two new actors in this film Kaya Scodelario and Brenton Thwaites fail to make an impact . Keira knightly in her two minute cameo perhaps was more effective than Kaya was in the whole film. Johnny Depp excels and lifts the film on his two shoulders ,kudos to him. The fans of the franchise will be ecstatic at the chance to see the film in all it's glory and magnificence . They will all get to see their very own captain Jack Sparrow back on screen!

As for those of you who are not well acquainted with the franchise , if you are ready for a bizarre voyage at sea with a queer captain ,uncertain waters but an overall comfortable journey , go for it !
